James Kang, Ph.D. is founder and CEO of InnoRem and a professor of pharmacology and toxicology at the University of Louisville.
InnoRem is a biotechnology company developing novel treatments for chronic diseases such as liver cirrhosis and heart failure based upon unique models of traditional Chinese medicine. Dr. Kang's research into molecular and cardiac toxicology as well as the biological functions and toxicological significance of metallothionein and glutathione form the foundation of the company.
Dr. Kang received his Ph.D. in cell biology and zoology from Iowa State University.
