   Claudio Maldonado, Ph.D., EndoProtech

Claudio Maldonado, Ph.D. is co-founder and President of EndoProtech, a company developing and commercializing unique therapies for the prevention of complications in the fields of organ transplantation and invasive cardiovascular surgery.

Dr. Maldonado has a dual appointment as associate professor at the University of Louisville in the Departments of Surgery and Physiology and Biophysics. Since 1983, Dr. Maldonado has held research positions in the divisions of cardiovascular surgery, cardiology, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Maldonado holds a B.A. in biology, an M.S. in exercise physiology, and a Ph.D. in physiology from the University of Louisville.
